Eswood UT20 High Performance Commercial Pot & Utensil Washer

The Eswood UT20 is a heavy-duty, high-performance industrial pot and utensil washer engineered specifically to handle the most punishing cleaning tasks in high-volume Australian commercial kitchens. Designed with a massive front-loading split-door configuration, this powerful machine blasts away baked-on grease, caramelised proteins, and heavy starches from large cooking vessels. It delivers a reliable, continuous sanitising solution that eliminates slow, unhygienic manual sink scrubbing behind the wash bench.

Optimised for large hotels, production bakeries, centralized catering facilities, RSL clubs, and busy manufacturing plants, the Eswood UT20 introduces unmatched processing power. Boasting an extra-deep wash chamber with a generous 650mm vertical entry clearance, it comfortably accommodates bulky 60-litre mixing bowls, oversized roasting pans, stockpots, baking sheets, and heavy kitchen utensils that fail to fit inside standard commercial dishwashers.

Australia’s best heavy duty pot washer the Eswood UT20

In high-output catering and food preparation environments, managing labour constraints while maintaining strict sanitary health codes dictates daily profitability. The Eswood UT20 directly answers these structural pressures by combining a high-volume wash pump with dual independent, high-velocity rotating stainless steel spray arms. This hydrodynamic configuration targets every corner of the wash bay with concentrated physical force, dissolving heavy fats and carbonized residues rapidly while maintaining a sanitising rinse temperature.

Operational durability and safety are woven into the heavy-duty chassis design layout. It features a smart, counter-balanced door mechanism that splits into top and bottom sections, dramatically reducing front clearance constraints and saving valuable kitchen floor space. To eliminate deployment and utility setup headaches, the machine comes standard with a built-in rinse booster pump and intuitive, water-resistant mechanical controls, making it easy for kitchen porters to launch continuous heavy-duty cleaning programs during peak service rushes.

Versatile Hospitality Industry Use Cases

  • Commercial Production Bakeries: Rapidly clean dough hooks, planetary mixing paddles, and heavy 60-litre mixing bowls to keep baking production lines flowing.
  • Large Hotels & Banquet Catering: Blast away stubborn food starches and burnt-on fats from oversized roasting trays, gastro pans, and heavy stockpots.
  • RSL Clubs & High-Volume Bistros: Safely sanitize massive loads of standard kitchen prep bowls, chef knives, whisks, and heavy-duty wire racks simultaneously.
  • Food Processing & Central Production Facilities: Deploy as a dedicated bulk cleaning hub to handle recurring wash rotations of large food distribution containers.

Comprehensive List of Standard Features

  • High-Powered Wash Network: Driven by a high-performance wash pump that generates intense mechanical spray action to lift stubborn soils.
  • Ergonomic Split-Door Design: Space-saving counter-balanced door opens into a split profile, reducing the front door-drop radius in narrow wash zones.
  • Massive Chamber Clearance: Features an expansive 650mm vertical internal clearance height to accept the largest commercial utensils and pans.
  • Three Selectable Wash Programs: Offers three programmatic factory cleaning cycles (2, 4, and 6 minutes) to align cycle length perfectly with light or baked-on soils.
  • Independent Wash & Rinse Systems: Upper and lower rotating arms are built from high-grade stainless steel to ensure full physical spray coverage.
  • Durable Stainless-Steel Body: Heavy-gauge, commercial-grade stainless steel cabinet structure resists structural fatigue and chemical corrosion.
  • Thermostatic Booster Heater: Internal rinse water booster ensures final sanitisation consistently hits required regulatory temperatures.
  • Intuitive Mechanical Controls: User-friendly analogue controls resist steam, water ingress, and heavy-handed kitchen shifts.
  • Removable Stainless-Steel Filter Trays: Wide-surface internal filtration screens trap large waste particles above the well for swift clearing mid-shift.
  • Integrated Safety Cut-Out: Pumping operation halts immediately if the front door is opened accidentally during an active cleaning loop.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can the Eswood UT20 run off a standard 15-amp single-phase power plug?
A: No. The UT20 features high-performance 11.2 kW elements and heavy-duty industrial pumps that require a hardwired 3 Phase 415V electrical supply connection.

Q: What is the benefit of the split-door configuration?
A: The split-door design allows the top half to lift while the lower half drops forward. This reduces the physical projection of the door into the kitchen workspace, making it ideal for compact or narrow pot-wash zones.

Q: Does this model require an external drainage pump assembly?
A: The standard UT20 configuration is built as a gravity-drain system via a 2” BSP waste line. If your commercial kitchen plumbing features an elevated wall waste trap, a specialized internal drain pump must be factory-fitted.

Q: Can this machine wash standard 500x500mm dishwasher racks?
A: Yes. While it is built to hold large pots and utensils on its heavy-duty 610x610mm base grid, standard 500x500mm washing baskets can be slid inside to run dense cycles of kitchen utensils or smaller prep bowls.

Q: What type of incoming water connection is recommended for optimal cycle speeds?
A: It requires an incoming hot water feed calibrated at a minimum of 65°C under 1 to 4 bar pressure. Supplying pre-heated water allows the booster tank to achieve rapid thermal recovery between consecutive cycles.
